News Announcements

• By request, JCC has scheduled the popular training seminar, Query Tuning & Locking, for January 23 - 26, 2012, in Granville, Ohio. We have a limited amount of additional space in the seminar. Please register early and plan to join us.
  
  
• We also have training scheduled for the December Forum in Sydney and for April in Granville. Early registration is appreciated. Additional suggestions for training are welcome. Please review available seminars and our preliminary schedule and tell us what topics interest you and when and where you could take training. The seminar program requires your input in order to meet your needs.
  
  
• Users of the JCC LogMiner Loader continue to expand the ways it is used and the end targets that it populates. If you have a use that you would like to share, please let us know.
  
  
• JCC is completing database, application, and security audits for a number of clients who are seeing significant growth, are concerned that they may be approaching capacity, or have industry imposed requirements.
  
  
• JCC has formalized "JCC DBA" and "DBA Compass" in response to client requests for outsourcing and support.
  
  
• Oracle announcements have been much in the news. JCC is helping our clients make sense of the announcements and plan for the future. More information is available here.



• On Monday, April 4, 2011, Keith Hare received the Award for Exceptional International Leadership for 2011 presented by the International Committee for Information Technology Standards (INCITS). Keith (pictured below) has been a JCC Consultant since 1985, has represented JCC on standards committees since 1992, and has been Convenor (chair) of the international committee on database standards since 2005.
