This seminar focuses on issues that are common to any GUI interface to any database. It covers, for example, transaction control and other performance basics, as well as discussing the network and what happens where for best results.
The seminar also covers specifics of Oracle Developer, particularly Forms, and of using Oracle Rdb with the Oracle tools. The seminar details both capabilities and issues.
The seminar is not merely a primer in how to use the tools. In addition there are significant sections, based on JCC practical experience, that are not available in the standard training at either the introductory or advanced levels. These practical pointers, together with the source code examples, will help you build robust applications for solutions to real business problems. You will learn when to accept Oracle Developer defaults, when and how to modify the defaults, and when to add procedural components.
The developers and presenters of this seminar have long term experience with software development. You will be able to share the results of experience with the products as well as a wide variety of application successes and significant experience in software research.
Students will have hands-on use of the product to access Oracle Rdb.
